As everyone knows, I am terrified of spiders. To make matters worse We are currently getting attacked by Black Widows and their brown spider friends. I haven't really identified the brown spider but it looks like this: Black tipped legs and the butt part has a big white shaped thing. Does anyone knows what type of spider that is?
When I was in CA Anthony told me that he blew the black widow and the eggs up. So I told Sean about this technique and he now runs along the outside of the house with a can of Lysol and a lighter. So far in the last two weeks, we have killed 8 black widow (6 of them on our front door) and countless brown spiders.
Sean wanted to try the things that plug into the wall, they send out radio waves that scare the spiders away. I believe they enjoyed the sound.. I just returned them back to Home Depot. Obviously they do not work.
This morning when Jade was heading to the bus, he peeked out the front door and then took off. I am not to sure why he didn't go through the garage, but it was slightly funny.
We bought the Ortho Home defense, so Sean will spray around the outside. I just heard from Sariah that spiders don't like lemon smells, so maybe I will plant a lemon tree.
