Vincent

My happy little man. He been doing breathing treatments in the morning and at night and he does really well with it.

His little lungs are so congested and it doesn't help that he is teething. He doesn't feel very good and not sleeping or eatting very well. Hopefully tonight he gets the rest he needs.

Fun weekend

Before After

Before After
We have an old computer that we can't turn on with out it over heating and a laptop that is getting old. We knew that we needed to get a P.C. since Jade is coming home with more stuff needing internet access. So on Friday we decided that we were going to look at computers. We knew that Curcuit City was going out of business, so we stoped by there first. They were absolutly wiped out on everything but T.V.s Sean found one that he really like, but of course all sales are final, so he asked them to turn the t.v. on, but it wouldn't turn on. The guy was really nice and asked sean want he was looking for and so sean told him what he was thinking about. The guy went in the back room and pulled out the one we bought. It is LG 47' LCD 1080I and we paid $800 for it. The one Sean was looking at was smaller and more money. Seemed like a good deal us.
We came home and decided since we were going to look for a computer, we should still go see if we could find one. We already have the monitor and yadda yadda's, all's we wanted was the tower. We went to best buy and picked up a good one for us for $300. Of course we had nothing to put it on, so we went to target and got a cheap desk.
I am excited because Jade now has a desk and a computer that he can use. Sean set up his own profile on the computer and we put restrictions on all the websites except for child friendly and ones that we have already approved. We is obsessed with Star Wars: Clone wars and so I put a background that is all the characters on it. Oh another thing we picked up at curcuit city was a HSM MP3 player. It was like $5. and then a disney song chip for it...$5. Jade has a radio in his room and I dont really like some of the songs he has been singing, so maybe we can set the MP3 player up and he will like it.

4m check up

Little V weighed today 17.07pounds is 26 1/2in and his head was 16in. He has grown a ton since his last appointment and is doing great. I am still breastfeeding and he is satisfied on what he is getting. Dr. Sherman and I talked about rice cereal and we decided to wait about another month until we try it. He isn't needing more then what I am able to produce, so were going to wait. He isn't able to sit up on his own and hasn't grown out of his infant seat, so we are going to wait a few more weeks before we upgrade to the convertible seat. I am nervous about rushing into that because we will lose the infant seat. So that is ok. We also talked about his cold and how he is a little wheezy. Jade had asthma and Dr. Sherman is worried that V also has it. She ordered a prescription of Abuteroal and tomorrow a breathing machine is being dropt off. We will do breathing treatments a couple of times a day as needed. But the machine is now his, so we will always have it. Just in case? He also has is first little tooth pushing through, so he is really fussy and has all the things that come along with teething. It is a JOY. He got his four shots and didn't do very well, he fell asleep in the car and has been sleepy since.

Vancouver

We have never gone on a trip just the four of us, so we decided to suprise Jade with a trip to the Vancouver B.C. Aquarium. We woke up yesterday and headed out. Jade had no clue where we were headed until we had to tell the Border Patrol where we were headed and why.
We stayed down town and went swimming yesterday. We got up this morning and went to the Aquarium. It was by far the BEST one that I have ever been to. They had over 70,000 animals including Aracanids and birds, They are the only place that has the baby baluga whale. Vincent looked at some of the tanks and just laughed and some he looked at the gaint fishes like he was lunch. We were able to watch the dolphins a little while they were being trainned which was fun.
On the way back, Sean came down with the flu and his back has been hurting really bad, so I was driving. The wait time to get to the U.S. was over two hours, so Sean walked around and while coming back heard his name and saw Jades mom Stephanie. Her and her boyfriend, Wade, where two cars in front of us. WHAT are the odds of that happening??? Jade went and said hello and came back. Sean inbetween throwing up and all of our stops was miserable. But we made it home and all in all was a fun trip. We are excited to plan another trip, probably this summer.

4 Months

Vincent turned four months yesterday. I can't believe how fast the time has gone. I had to take him to the dr. on Saturday and he got weighed...17pounds. I don't understand where it all is at. I don't think he is a chubby kid. But he is a very happy baby that loves to talk. He loves his soft polka dotted blanket and his firefly carseat toy. He loves hearring Jade read at night. We just finished Finding Nemo and Vincent would stare at the pages and try to figure out all the colors. You can tell by looking at him that he is completely alert and constantly processing everything. Papa and Jade are very funny to him. Papa last night was singing the M.I.C.K.E.Y song to him with sound effects and Vince just laughed and laughed.

I love being a mom and watching him grow. He brings a level of excitement and joy to my life that I couldn't believe is possible. He is so amazing.

Taxes

Well, I finally got mine back. WooHooo..I originaly filed like the 26th of Jan and should of gotten them back last week. But when I looked it said the 17th. Yesterday I looked again (slightly impatient) and it said they found an error. I was like WHAT...oh know. I looked to see what the error was and it said that I forgot to add a rebate credit. So I did a little more research and found out that I got Vincents stimulous check. LOL. He was born in 2008, so he was intittled to the package. I got the full $300. I was floored that they gave me that credit. Who knew that the goverment will go nice things and give you the money that is rightfully yours with out having to beg for it. It made my day.

It all comes down to today

Today I have my mediation for the car accident. My lawyer and I are going to Seattle and meeting with a mediator who will work for both sides. I am nervous and wish Sean was home, but he won't be home til tomorrow. How it is going to work is....We will be in one room and the other party will be in another and the mediator will go back and forth. They prepped me to be there all day. I am really hoping it doesn't because I have stuff I need to take care of before tomorrow.
IF we can't settle on a dollar amount today, then we have to go to trail in April. I sat down with Mitch last week and we review settlements for similar accidents and when they go to trail, they rarely get enough to cover medical expenses...eccks...I have 14000 in medical...
Sorry Jen, I was already told I will not become a Millionaire from this....Want to go to Dinner..lol.. BUT, you can not put a dollar amount on me walking away from the horrible accident with minor...(I still can't taste somethings.) injuries. It was a horrible day and I am thankful I had someone looking out for me *I truly believe Gramdpa was with me*. I truly am blessed and nothing monetary can change that.

IT CAME!!!

Sean finally got a Pre-Selection Packet for Costums and Border Protection. It is a very hefty packet and they gave him until the 13 to complete everything and have it post marked. WELL...Sean is in MI until the 14, so he gave them a call and they said it would be ok to extend his deadline by a week. I am going to call all the offices...(Police department for fingure prints, some office for a physical, and other random places) to schedule an appointment for the week he gets back and try to help fill out the paperwork so it will be done by the 20th.

We are sooo excited. I found out today at drill on of my friends is also applying with them and it has taken several months for his background to be approved. Sean's orders for the military are good through Sept. So if he could get hired before Sept, Go to their acadamy *which I just found out about..* he will be all trained and ready to go by the end of the year. Then we will move around Dec. YEA. It is kinda like a timeline. We put on the application that he would relocate anywhere in WA and all other locations, so we potentially could move ANYWHERE. Isn't that kinda exciting? Well, I am excited.
