Zoo

Lacey and I took Vincent and Sterling to the Seattle Zoo today. It was so nice outside it felt great to be out and get fresh air. We had to be back by 2:30 because Jade would be out of school, so we left here at 10am. Sterlings grandma works at the Zoo, so we were able to get in for free. It was hard to get Vincent to look at the animals because he is so easly distracted, but the animals that did get his attention, he was mezmorized (all monkey species). An Orangitan and Vincent made a connection and started smiling at each other..I am not to sure what that was about. But it was cute.
We only saw half the park and the half the park we saw, half of those animals were out. Not to sure where they were all at, but its ok. We had a great day. Both boys were asleep before we left the park.

When we got home, we took the boys and played on the grass. Vincent isn't to sure about the grass, so he stuck to the blanket. He has been trying to crawl and usually ends up in the push-up postition.

Angst

I am trying to watch Dancing with the Stars, but I am so antzy and full of angst. I am not sure why because not a wole lot happened today.
Lets see:
I filled out all my student loan paperwork like forever ago, but they only pay the laons once a year (one your service date annivrsary) so if everything is perfect, you have to wait til next year. So my anniversary date in 8 days. I logged into the site and found out that they havent recieved my promisary notes. SO I have to fax them tomorrow.
Jade has really bad allergies and cant breath.
Vincent can't breath either.
Sean is having serious problems with his car.
We are so close to being able to buy a house, but we need some paperwork. So that means waitting...and more waitting.
I want to be discharged from the Army and I am challenging the regulation that supposedly said that I wasn't able to be discharged when I was pregnant.

But I should be excited and happy because we paid 2500 in debt today. That feels really awesome. I was so sick of getting the same bills in the mail and always moving them to the bottom of the bill stack. So last night I went through them all and paid them. (I didn't even need to spend our savings. Even Better)
We are like two months away from living together. I picked up the written notice today.
we are going to have a lot of fun this weekend.

Six Month Check Up

When I took Vincent for his four month appointment Fong (Nurse) asked that Sean and I both go so we can hold Vincent while she gave him his shots. So we went on Friday morning. Right when Fong came in the room, Vincent came on glued. It was slightly funny to watch.

He weighed: 19.5pnds 75-90% was 28in 90% and head was 15in 35%. Dr. Sherman was dissapointed that he was still sleeping with us and asked that we get him to sleep in his crib. We also got "introuble" because he can't sooth himself. She told me that I didn't need to nurse him during the night and I needed to stop. Since he is eatting solids, he should be getting plenty of calories during the day.

He recieved the shots and was uncomfortable the rest of the day and cried all night. He had a slight cold when he woke up on Friday, so he was just a mess. I tried the whole crib thing and it was fine (like always) until 1am and then he wanted nothing to do with his crib. I think it was a bad weekend to start, so I am going to start this tonight. Last night, he would wake up and cry, so I put his pacifer in his mouth and he went back to sleep. No nursing. So if he was just in his crib, it would be "perfect."

He is a very happy baby and he is able to play alone on the floor. We have been giving him a ton of solid food.. rice, noodles, tortillas, chicken and of course baby food. He isn't saying actual sounds yet but we aren't concerned. He is trying to figure out crawling and he sat up for the first time yesterday.
