Sean's "appointed" attorney sent him a retainer bill for $3000. We were pretty confused by this and then the next day a bill for $700 came. It said that they were going to limit the expenses and whatever whatever, but the itemized bill, he charged us $500 just to talk to him the first time. (THE ONLY TIME) Sean hadn't even been to court with this guy yet. Nothing..
We haven't given him anything yet because the whole thing is slightly confusing. SO they went to court and nothing was mentioned about the monies and then today I went and dropped off a packet to his paralegal. We went in to her office and she first was like, just to let you know, I charge $90 an hour but I am not charging you today because we are talking woman to woman. Wait, I am dropping off a PACKET, I don't want to sit and chat. She then tells me that they can not go any further without compensation. So I told her it wasn't a problem and we were confused on how we were appointed a lawyer, That we didn't ask for, and then get charged for it. Excuses me. So after 10 min's of her saying this, I told her I could go downstairs (the office is in the building owned by the bank I work for) and get her a check because the paper work needs to be filed by Friday.
She then told me not to worry about it and Sean and the lawyer could handle it next week. I was so confused. We also asked Stacey to write a declaration for us to save some money and she did. I can't describe the amazing paper she wrote. I told the paralegal that Stacey had written it and she was SO RUDE about it. I couldn't believe it. If it wouldn't cause a continuance, we would change lawyers to the office that has handled all of this before. I am so frustrated.
I sent her a soft copy of the declaration (so she wouldn't have to retype it...SHE KNOWS that there will be mistakes in it....Stacey is the smartest person I know, I doubt there will be mistakes) and she told me that the lawyer said that it doesn't have to be filled by Friday and he will take care of it next week. err...I am SO GLAD we rushed to get all of the information for it.

Court
As everyone already knows, Sean has full custody of Jade. Stephanie has been fighting for custody for years, but Sean has always remained the custodial parent. Last summer when Sean was going to Deploy, Stepahnie took him to court and the court said, that if he was to leave then Stepahnie would get custody. Sean of course didn't deploy. BUT they also said, that if he was to work in Yakima then that would be a no no. Sean was unemployed for three months. He couldn't find work and it was horrible. He applied for the border patrol, but the process is very long, so for the mean time His old job in Yakima offereded him a positition and he took it. We intented to move our entire family, but Jade was being tested at school for L.D.'s and moving him in the middle of that wouldn't have worked. And we were completely and totaly broke.
SO Stephanie filed for another hearring. It was scheduled for the first part of March. Stephanie called the DAY before and was like...Oh there isn't going to be court tomorrow becuase I forgot to confirm. WHAT!!! Sean had to cancel one of the tests for the border partol for this date. So, of course she refiled and it was on Monday.
We were really nervous because we knew that Sean messed up. He handled the Yakima job wrong and we thought she would get custody. But Nope. Sean still has custody and the Judge more or less agreed that taking Jade out of school wouldn't have served any purpose and He now needs to file a 60 notice with the court saying he is relocating his whole family.
He got all the paperwork yesterday and he needs to put the school that Jade will be going to along with our new address (if we have it).
He also needs to say WHY the move to Yakima would be better for Jade then a move to Yelm with his mother would be.
We all went to a meeting at the school yesterday about Jades test results (Which he tested above average in everything but three areas) So with that information and some other things we will be able to decided which school would be best....in Yakima
In May is the trial and the Judge will go through Seans information along with Stephanies and a final verdict will be given. SO until then, everything is perfect.

A week in review
Lets see:
Vincent has been battleing a disease. He has been sick for THREE weeks. Gagg. The doctor tried to conveince me that it was a virus and then the tooth and then a new virus just all back to back. I swear that my baby has been replaced with a demon child. JK. He is so uncomfortable alls he wants to do is scream. OK, I am dealing with it. On Wednesday night he woke up and his temp was 102. I called the on call DR. (how did his curcomcision) and gave her advice. We went back to sleep and then he seemed fine on Thursday. His Dr. called Sean and asked how everything was going and yeah. She didn't seemed concerned. We just do his breathing treatments which really don't help. Expect maybe the coughing. It takes them from a 9 to 4. whatever. And motrin. I think i like the motrin more then tylenol.
Sean was supposed to go to court on thursday. That didnt happen. So now we have no clue what is happening.
Sean turned in his Border Partol packet. Next monday he is taking a physical and then he has a background check and a video based test to take and it will be done. SO maybe in a year.
jk
We finaly reached a settlement for the accident. One word LAME. Sorry Jen, no new fruniture for your house. LOL. Completely dissappointing. But really, I walked away from the accident and you can't put a dollar amount on that.
Jade had his Blue and Gold dinner on Thursday. He got his bobcat. It was very exciting. He wanted to go on a father and son fishing trip, but he will be with his mom that whole weekend. Bummer. I am thinking Sean can take him to make up for it. Just as fun right? Maybe he can take a buddy with him.
Sean sister Stacey was her this weekend. That was fun. She made Seans favorite Stuffed pizza.

Testimony
Today was Fast and Testimony meeting and while I was sitting there I thought back when I last bore my testimony and it has probably been close to 10 years. I then felt completely guilty because so much time has slipped by me. I sat there quitely (I left Vince at home with Sean, he is sick) and reflected to all that I am thankful for.
As each Brother and Sister got up to talk, I felt prompted, but I didnt move.
One Sister went and up she talked about how her Home Teachers came this morning and talked about the Plan of Salvation and how God let his only Son die for all of our sins. How must God of felt knowing what his Son was about to endour? She then told us that she delivered her youngest daughter at 23w gestation. She knew that the time spent with her daughter where gifts from her Heavenly Father and she knew that she wouldn't be able to spend a whole lot of time in her earthly body. Everyday for 18m she would leave for other 6 young children at home and go spend time with her L.O. in the NICU. At time she was called and told the baby wasn't doing well and she needed to come. Everytime she would go. The baby would stabalize and everything would be ok.
She then told us one day she knew that the Lord was being very generous and thought maybe her baby would pull through and defy the odds. She prayed to the Lord and said that she was almost unable to endure anymore and felt selfish to want to keep this precious baby. Within a short time later. This Sister was at home with her young children, Her husband was gone as was her second car. The hospital called and said that the baby was having congestive heart failure and she needed to get to the hospital. She tried reaching her husband with no luck. She called EVERY neighbor and that lead no where. Three hours later, the hospital called back to let her know the baby didn't make it.
A few minutes after that, Her parents showed up with the second car, neighbors started returning phone calls.
I sat there quitely crying to myself. I can not imagaine the range of emotions this sweet Sister went through. To have been there for 18+m and then not there at the end.
When God our Father let his only Son, our Father in Heaven, I do not believe that he would ever make anyone go through this alone. She may have not been there for her little baby, but the lord was and I am sure that everyone that loved this baby was right there with her.
One day, we will be with the ones we love again and we will know that they never missed anything. Our Heavenly Father loves each and everyone of us. Nothing is to big nor to small to talk to him about. The final song in Sacrament was Did you think to Pray. I love my Heavenly Father and I talk to him everyday. I am so thankful that I have gone back to church and my ward is so loving and forgiving. Our President is a prophet of God and he was ordianed to guide and direct us. I am so thankful to have Vincent in my life to to teach me and love me unconditionaly. I have a strong testimony in the power of prayer. I have seen it work miracles in my life.
In the end, I didn't get up. Maybe next month, I will be able to stand in front of my ward family and express my gratidued and my love for the church and my savior.
