Aug

One word Whoa. Where did it go? I can not believe how fast this summer has gone. Between moving and staying at my in-laws and going to California, it has been crazy. Quick recap.
My amazing little nephew (Samuel Anthony Durst) was born the beginning of Aug and he is a fighter. He had some little complications that landed him in the NICU for a little over a week. My aunt and I flew to CA to help Jen and Anthony with the other 5 kids. I love spending time in CA and I wish I could do it more often. Vincent had so much fun with his cousins, especially Aubrey. They were constantly playing and sharing food. LOL. Sorry Jen, she was eating baby food. I was so happy that I was able to assist in running errands, making dinners and help cleaning. Debbie is going to be in CA again in Oct. and I am thinking about going also.

The beginning of Aug, my SIL and BIL come up for a long weekend and we put together a baby shower for Stacey and the boys were able to get "bonding time" in. Stacey used to visit a lot but with her life changing it was a great treat to be able to spend time with her. We are all very excited for them to move to the Seattle area in the upcoming months. Yea for babies.

Jade spent a good portion of Aug at his mothers house. He came home the Sunday before school started, so I did all of his back to school shopping with out him : ( He started school on the 25th and Grandma came back with us to see him off. He insisted on riding the bus, so Sean and I walked him to the bus at 8am and then hopped in the car and met him at the school. It was the first time that we had been in the school and we are completely impressed. There is close to 600 students and the school is really organized and clean. We met his teacher, Mrs Warren, and she seems like she is going to be a good fit for Jade. On Thursday we went to the Back to school BBQ, It was a lot of fun.

Sean was gone for two weeks in Aug at a school in TN. He is home now and wont be traveling until Oct.

I am in the process of going back to Keybank to work.

Oh Vincent was fitted for his new shoes. He has a slight deformity in his bones so he needs to wear little plastic shoes. He doesn't mind wearing them and I think he would rather wear them then to have them off. He wears them all day unless he is sleeping. He will go back in about two months for a check up. From there if it looks like they are working he will wear them for up to six months, if not then they may look at surgery. But one step at a time. literally. He is walking a ton. With and without the shoes on.
